PLR - Great For Autoresponders
April 5th, 2008One of the things that many folks tell me is that they have trouble coming up with really great autoresponder series, at least of any great length. Let’s be honest, it’s tough trying to think of lots of fantastic content to give your subscribers in the hopes that they’ll purchase one of your products down the line. Well, never fear because this is where PLR comes to the rescue.
One of the really great things about PLR that is well written is that it can be used for so many things…and autoresponders are no exception. With just a few PLR articles or even a PLR ebook, you can crank out a series of autoresponder messages in no time flat that will have your subscribers hungry for more.
The key is to find PLR that has enough content to turn into as long enough series. So I guess we have to ask the question, what is a long enough series? That’s where some knowledge of marketing will be very helpful.
Statistics show that it takes a prospect an average of 7 times to see your website before he is actually ready to buy anything from you. Part of the reason for that is trust and the other part is familiarity. Very few people will get something the very first time they see it. They need to do research on the item to see if there are any complaints or other things that might persuade them otherwise.
Therefore, a good autoresponder series is going to need enough installments in order to have your site viewed enough times. However, a good autoresponder series won’t send the prospect to a sales page each issue. A good series will provide more content than sales pitches. Therefore, a really effective series would have to be quite a few issues more than just that magic number of 7. I find that between 25 and 35 followups, with mostly content, is a great length for a series.
Really good PLR can easily fill that need.
So you see, PLR is good for more than just creating products and writing articles for directories and your blog. It’s also great for giving subscribers content that can ultimately turn them into buyers.
To YOUR PLR Success,
