Private Label Resale Rights

Sunday, September 28th, 2008

Private label resale rights can help you break into internet marketing in very little time for a small investment. In this article I’m going to explain how private label resale rights, also known as private label rights or PLR, can really help you become an effective internet marketer.

While there are ways to self-teach yourself about how to be an effective Internet marketer, it is important to realize that you must get yourself in the right frame of mind if anything you learn is going to be of any help to your new career choice.

As is true with so many things in life, attitude can be the difference between a happy and successful Internet marketer and someone who adds one more example of failure to a long and growing list.

Sidebar: Want to know how to use PLR articles right now?

To that end, one of the first things you should do is develop a mindset that is positive. You will want to apply this approach from the moment you choose to begin learning about the concept of marketing on the Internet. You have to think about PLR as an asset. You have to think, “I’ve got to have PLR!”

Telling yourself that there is nothing that you can’t learn to do and do well is the first step in creating the right approach. You will find this level of confidence to be tested from the very start of the process, so the sooner you develop this sort of “can-do” attitude, the better off you will be.

Hint: You need to have confidence that PLR works. But, balance your enthusiasm where it makes sense. For example, although I generally like private label resale rights articles and books, there are some things I don’t like about PLR. Nothing’s perfect.

Unless you already have an internet marketing background, chances are that as you begin your studies, you will come across terminology that you are unfamiliar with.

For people who already doubt their basic ability to learn new things, this can be the obstacle that derails them before they ever get started. However, if you simply remind yourself that there is nothing you can’t learn about PLR, this will be nothing more than a small speed bump on your way to success.

Instead of despairing because you don’t understand a word, stop for a moment and use your access to the Internet to look up the meaning. In fact, you can buy PLR to get smart fast.

Hint: The Simple PLR Club is a low cost private label rights membership. It’s a “no brainer” investment.

Many search engines allow you to enter a command of “define” followed by a keyword or key phrase. This will allow you to find quick definitions for the word, and also provide you with links that go into more detail about the concepts and applications that are connected to that word.

Remember that you are not engaged in a competitive race. If you need to spend an hour or so researching marketing terms, then take the time and do it.

Getting comfortable with the lingo will only make it that much easier for you to read and assimilate the information that you use as part of your self-training process. You will thank yourself as you resume your studies and find that technical terms are no longer slowing you down.

Along with learning about Internet marketing, it is a good idea to get acquainted with basic Internet tools as well. There is a world of electronic marketing tools that are available today. Some of them are free, while others cost very little. There are some basic things that any Internet marketer will need to know and learn about using these tools.

Hint: Have you really thought about private label reselling rights? Did you realize that PLR is like outsourcing.  In fact, it’s like cheap advertising. You’re buying their time and energy, but also their research, for peanuts!

Learning before you go out and start assembling the tools will help you keep the right attitude for two reasons. First, you will be able to side step grabbing the first tools you see and holding on to them as if they were the Holy Grail of marketing. While there are a lot of great support tools and software on the market today, there is also a lot of junk. Take a deep breath and step back for a moment.

Hint: We like to use Google’s Keyword tool to find hot topics. Then we start hunting on Google using those keywords. We just add “PLR” or “private label rights” or “private label resale rights” to the keywords to find PLR quickly and easily. Of course, you have to know how to evaluate PLR. Much of it is terrible. Free PLR books and articles are especially dangerous.

Remind yourself that you are in an investigative mode. Make note of tools that pique your interest, but don’t leap on them until you have learned more about Internet marketing and how to apply the tools. Then you will be in a better position to evaluate what value, if any, a particular tool has to your marketing model and plan.

Second, you do not set yourself up to fail before you even begin. Like the old saying goes, “too many cooks spoil the broth.” Engulfing yourself with a bunch of tools in a random fashion will only serve to confuse you and scatter your attention from your goals. Keep focused, keep moving forward. This will prevent you from getting bogged down in details that are not yet essential for you.

Hint: Have you thought about how PLR is great for autoresponders? You can fill up an autoresponder with PLR and you won’t face any issues. This is a $100 tip on how to effectively use private label resale rights ebooks.

Above all, it is absolutely necessary that you meet every challenge with questions about how to turn the situation around and make it into an opportunity. Remember every challenge or problem is nothing more than an opportunity in disguise.

There will always be challenges, but an individual who is dedicated to the concept of becoming a top notch Internet marketer will see these situations as stepping stones to success, rather than a brick wall that cannot be climbed.

One thing to realize is that no matter how positive you try to be, there will be days when it seems like nothing you study is making sense. Recognize that you will have those days, but also remind yourself that every successful person from the beginning of time has also had them.

Hint: It’s easy to be positive about resale rights. In fact, if you know how to flip PLR then you can make a lot of money online without too much work. There are many ways to utilize private label rights. You can be successful using it, starting today.

When you feel the frustration level rising to the point that it threatens to undermine your positive mindset to your marketing studies, it is time to take a short break. Push back the chair, turn off the computer, and get out of the house. Go to a movie, take a walk, have coffee with friends. Talk about how you’re master resale rights and PLR. The point is to change your location, the view around you, and the focus of your attention for a short period of time.

Giving yourself this short break will do wonders for your thinking. Chances are very good that when you return to your computer and pull up your study documents, things will make a great deal more sense. (If you follow the links to the PLR materials above, you’ll be an expert in no time at all.)

Remember that you can be whatever you want to be. All you have to do is take the time to equip yourself with the knowledge and skills you need to reach your goals. This may not happen overnight, but if you keep your chin up, work hard, and assimilate what you need, your confidence in your ability will grow and you will get where you want to go.

Good luck with your Private Label Rights adventures. You can be successful with PLR in no time at all.

PLR Means Speed

Monday, August 11th, 2008

Private Label Rights (PLR) are interesting but misunderstood. The bottom line is that someone else has done a ton of work for you. PLR is also usually very affordable. Read between the lines here: PLR is the same as getting cheap labor.

But, the coolest thing is that you can buy time. When you purchase PLR you get several hours of high quality work, if you know what you’re doing at least.  When I say “buy time” I mean that you buy the product, then you do some quick edits, and you’re done. You can whip up new web sites, new products, new squeeze pages, new sales pages, and more, in very little time when you grab PLR.

Here’s an example. About a week ago I bought 3 PLR packages for just $15. I got a sales page, a squeeze page, ebook, ebook cover, and even a 3-part autoresponder series to help sell the product.  It took me about 2 hours to get *everything* stood up.

So, PLR means speed but there are two important points I need to emphasize. First, you have to know how to find great PLR. For example, the Simple PLR Club is awesome. And, so are the PLR Newsletters. I cannot stress this enough. A lot of PLR is complete junk so knowing how to find great PLR is one of your top goals. If you bad low quality PLR you’ll end up burning more time than it would have taken to create the materials yourself.

Tip: PLR Exploitation explains exactly how to judge the quality of PLR before you buy it. (Amazing techniques.)

Second, if you really want to “buy time” use the following PLR Kung Fu technique. Invest in great PLR then outsource all the updates. So, let’s say you buy 10 PLR articles on gardening for $20. Simply find a virtual assistant or enlist the help of an article wizard to re-write the PLR articles. This might cost you $3 more per article. The 10 articles would be nearly 100% fresh but they would only cost you $50 in total ($20 for the PLR and $30 for the re-writing.) This is why I say that PLR is speed.

PLR Articles — How to Use Them

Thursday, May 1st, 2008

If you’re going to buy PLR articles (private label rights articles) then you absolutely must have a plan head of time. You must know how to use them like a professional. Like any investment, if you don’t have clarity on your goals and objectives then you’re taking on unnecessary risk, or even wasting money outright.

Let me tell you a quick story. About 18 months ago I bought a huge bundle of PLR articles. I think it was something like 500 private label rights articles. The price was extremely low and I thought that I was going to make a real killing with that PLR. Oh yes!

Of course I was absolutely wrong. In my first month using those cheap articles I made less than $20 and that was pure luck. In fact, overall, I lost money because I paid more than $20 for the 500 “ultra hot” PLR articles. What a fool I was!

I failed for three reasons. I want to make sure you know why I failed so that you don’t fall into the same trap I did. Let’s take a look…

1. I bought poor quality PLR. As I’ve explained in the PLR model video, the true value of PLR is in the research not the actual writing. The value of the 500 PLR articles I bought was next to zero. It was such a waste because the writers just pumped out words; they didn’t actually explore and understand the topics and keywords.

2. I didn’t re-write the articles. Yes, I changed the titles of the articles a little bit, but not enough. And, certainly not the right way. To do PLR re-writing, you absolutely must use the right formula. 18 months ago, I was just pumping out duplicate PLR articles; everyone else was putting out the same stuff. Google slammed the door in my face.

3. I didn’t create any autoresponder memberships. Actually, I should say it this way: I didn’t transform or flip the PLR. I did a poor job re-writing the PLR articles, but then worse, I simply used my “new” articles as articles. I didn’t use the “re-written” PLR content to create fresh blog entries, autoresponder material, or forum postings. In short, I didn’t exploit the PLR at all. I just hacked it up a little and expected that my unstructured and unplanned actions would generate cash.

So, now you know why I failed when I bought those 500 PLR articles. The quality was poor, I didn’t re-write, and I didn’t use a PLR flipping system. What a shame.

Let me focus for again on planning. If you buy PLR, you must have an action plan. You should definitely follow these easy steps:

1. Choose your niche
2. Identify your niche keywords
3. Find PLR that meets your needs
4. Plan your monetization system
5. Set up your blog, site or autoresponder
6. Purchase high quality PLR
7. Re-write and re-structure your PLR
8. Exploit your PLR

The eight steps for using your PLR above aren’t going to work perfectly every single time. But, you can see that I’m really forcing you to think about how your PLR is going to be used.

The lesson in this plan is to be smart with your money. Don’t buy PLR until you need it, unless you’re in a PLR membership that regularly churns out great PLR and they’ve done tons of work for you.

By the way, if you are in a PLR membership I strongly encourage you to learn about PLR re-writing and PLR flipping. PLR won’t make you real money until you learn these techniques. If you’re looking for a shortcut on how to re-write and flip PLR, then I strongly recommend PLR Exploitation. It’s known as the “Bible of PLR” to internet marketers.

I’ll end by saying that I now make thousands of dollars every single month by exploiting PLR. I know how to buy PLR, and sell it. I know how to re-write it. I know how to flip it. I know how to set up autoresponder memberships with PLR. Most importantly, I know how to create plans for my PLR so that I succeed online — you can do it too.

~ John S. Rhodes

p.s. If you sell PLR, you ought to take a look at the PLR Exploitation affiliate program. It’s powered by Clickbank. There are two ways you can go. You can use a great pre-sales funnel; simply point to a free video about PLR. Or, you can do your own pre-sales then point to the PLR Exploitation sales page. (Either way, it’s easy.)

PLR - Why You Just Gotta Have It

Thursday, April 24th, 2008

Okay, that’s a pretty bold statement, but I intend to back it up. See, I have a reputation to uphold so if I put my neck out on the line like that, you better believe I got something up my sleeve to make sure it don’t get chopped off at the block. So why is PLR so great that you just gotta have it?

Time…Plain and simple.

I consider myself a fairly successful home business owner. I’ve been at this for 5 plus years and earn over 6 figures in my PJs. The only thing I use my car for is to go to the store to buy food and go to the bank to cash the indecent sized checks I get for working in my PJs.

But with all that…I still don’t have enough of that one commodity that is so important that no matter what we do, we can never get enough of it or get it back once it’s gone. If you think I am kidding, try rewinding the clock back to yesterday. Unless your Christopher Lloyd, forget it.

Time is the one thing we can never get back and never get enough of…and time is one thing that product creation takes a lot of. Trust me, I know. I’ve created tons of products from scratch and it’s brutal on the old timepiece. I’ve had days when I’d wake up at 7, go to bed 16 hours later and wonder where the day went.

And my product was maybe 2% done…if that.

And then I discovered PLR and it was like…OMG. Now granted, you have to know what to look for because some of it isn’t worth the spit that it took to put it together. But once you’ve found those golden nuggets (and PLR Exploitation shows you how to do that) most of the work has been done for you…the research.

Yeah, that’s the killer part. Unless you’ve got Spock’s brain, you’ve got tons of research to do in order to get a product out there that won’t end up embarrassing you. And if you think there aren’t any crappy products out there where the creator didn’t do his research, I have several bridges to sell you.

So well made PLR material is going to save you time and money. Because let’s face it, isn’t YOUR time worth something to you? I know mine is at $100 an hour for mentoring, so I’ll be damned if I’m going to waste it on something like research if I can get somebody to do it for me.

And THAT is the real power of PLR. But some people just don’t get it.

Well, PLR Exploitation is going to give it to you in spades.

If there is something you need to know about PLR, it’s in this product. Nothing has been left out..and I do mean NOTHING.

So that is why you just gotta have PLR material for your product creation…but even more important…why you just gotta get your hands on PLR Exploitation if you want to truly harness the power of all that PLR that you’ve either got sitting on your hard drive or are considering purchasing.

But before you buy ANY PLR MATERIAL, please pick up a copy of PLR Exploitation so that you’ll know how to tell if the PLR you own or are planning to get is any good.

PLR - What I DON’T Like About It

Thursday, April 24th, 2008

Okay, I’m going to come clean with you. I’ve been telling you all the things that I love about PLR and what you can use it for. Well, now I’m going to tell you what I don’t like about PLR. Oh yes, there are things about PLR that I totally detest. As a matter of fact, I hate these things so much that they make me sick. So I’m going to give you my personal “this pisses me off” list and see if you agree with me.

1. Crappy PLR - This may very well be at the top of my list. I hate PLR that is absolute crap. I got this one package of PLR articles (200 of them) that was nothing but a bunch of bullet points for each article. That’s not an article, that’s a bunch of bullet points and it’s totally worthless as far as PLR material goes.

2. PLR All Over The Place - You know what I’m talking about. The site tells you that the PLR is limited to 100 sets and when you do a search on Google or wherever, you find like 30,000 results for this PLR product. Yeah, right…100 sets. These crooks are just after your money and don’t limit their PLR in any way at all. Biggest rip off next to the bullet point issue.

3. PLR That’s Wrong - I’m talking about PLR that gives you facts about something and the facts are all wrong or made up. Hell, any idiot can tell that some of the stuff in these PLR reports are made up just to fill up pages. The person who researched these disasters must have either flipped a coin or is living on Mars. Because none of the info in this crap is factual.

4. Stolen PLR - I’m actually talking about PLR that isn’t PLR at all. I’m talking about some book that a guy read, called it his own, and then sells it as PLR material when he didn’t have the rights to sell it at all in the first place. I was a personal victim of this a LONG time ago before I got smart and learned everything that I needed to learn about PLR.

And now YOU can discover the secrets of PLR for yourself so that you…

Won’t get burned by PLR that’s crap…
Won’t get burned by PLR that’s all over the place…
Won’t get burned by PLR that’s just plain wrong…
Won’t get burned by PLR that’s stolen.

Nope…you can put all your cares aside knowing that with PLR EXPLOITATION you won’t have to worry about getting burned by PLR ever again.

You have my word on that.

PLR - Great In A Pinch

Friday, April 11th, 2008

Okay, this is a true story.

I just started a mentoring program. It’s my first one and it’s going very well, if I have to say so myself. But I have one lady, very nice lady, who’s having trouble deciding on a product.

Here is why.

She wants to do one niche that she has a little bit of knowledge about but not enough to call herself an expert, so she really can’t write her own product, though she’d like to. On the other hand, the affiliate products for this niche won’t give her the same income opportunity because, well, let’s face it…you make more money with your own product.

Anyway, I was wracking my brains out trying to figure out what the heck to do about this problem…and then it hit me.

Why not go with PLR?

After all, the research has already been done on the niche. We know it’s going to be a solid niche to get into. We just need a product. So once we find a product that we can call our own…bingo, we’ve got it made.

So I contacted John Rhodes, the co creator of PLRExploitation along with myself (He’s really the brains behind it) and we’re working on getting some material for her.

Problem solved.

Think about it. You know what niche you want to get into but you really don’t know enough to write about it from scratch and you just don’t want to spend all that time doing hours and hours of boring research. Well, why not just get yourself a good PLR product on the subject and be done with it? The expense, which is pennies anyway, will be more than made up for with the number of sales you’re going to make.

This is just another reason why PLR is so great. Sometimes you have that great idea but just don’t have the material to capitalize on it. With PLR, your problems are solved.

Of course you do have to know what to do with it, which is where PLRExploitation comes in.

You don’t have to give up on a niche just because you don’t have the material to take advantage of it.

Not anymore.

PLR - Great For Getting Feedback

Wednesday, April 9th, 2008

I think this is going to get a lot of people really excited. In a previous article, I discussed how PLR was great for getting people to opt into your list by giving them a free report and using the PLR to create that report. Well, we can actually go on step farther and use that same report to get feedback which we can then in turn use to either improve the report or for our next product. In a moment, I’m going to show you how.

But first, I want you to check out a couple of really cool videos that John Rhodes made about PLR.

You can view them here.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IO9D-8IqTkg

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HwQ7hx_n1hQ

But don’t forget to come back and find out how great PLR is for getting feedback.

tap…tap…tap…

Oh, back so soon?

Okay, where was I?

Oh yes, how to use PLR to get feedback. It’s actually very simple. Whatever book or report it is that you’re giving away, at the very end of it, simply add a closing chapter to the report asking people what additional info they’d like to see covered. Don’t be surprised, a lot of folks will get back to you, especially if the initial report was solid.

Then, after you get back all the feedback, create your product from whatever it is you were going to use, even other PLR material, and then add your answers to the feedback requests.

For example, let’s say you gave away a free report on list building and somebody said they’d love to see a tutorial on using Aweber, since they’re probably the biggest autoresponder service. Well, all you have to do is add a chapter on Aweber. You might even want to make a video on the subject and package it with the book itself. This will add more value to it.

This is just one of many examples I could give you for adding content to your PLR material based on the feedback of others simply giving them the PLR that you have to begin with. It’s like having your subscribers write the rest of the book for you.

It’s just a little trick I picked up through my many years of marketing online.

As you can see, PLR has so many uses that they are virtually unlimited.

All you need is a little imagination and some great PLR material to start with.

PLRExploitation will give you everything you need to turn YOUR PLR stockpile into a virtual goldmine.

PLR - Outsourcing On The Cheap

Tuesday, April 8th, 2008

This article is going to show you another way of looking at PLR. This actually came to me via a video I saw from our very own John Rhodes, who just happens to be the Internet PLR master. This man makes more money off of PLR material than I make off of my own products from scratch. It’s just sick.

Anyway, I want to touch on a topic that very few people really understand the importance of…outsourcing.

As I began to see my success increase, I also so something else increase as well…the amount of time I was putting into my business. More sales meant more support requests. This is time consuming and there is no way around it, especially if you’re selling an info product that people are going to have questions about. Eventually, I began to realize that I needed to outsource some items that didn’t directly bring me an income. I wasn’t going to outsource my support because that was my personal contact with my customers and I didn’t want to take a chance on an outside source screwing that up. So other things had to go.

The point is, I don’t do everything on my own anymore. I just can’t. I only handle the things that I don’t feel comfortable letting others handle. But the other day, I had a problem with one of my blogs so I just hired somebody to fix it. I didn’t have the time to fiddle with it to figure out why the formatting was all messed up.

Okay, so what does this have to do with PLR?

Everything!

Look at PLR as your own category of outsourcing.

Let’s put it this way. Let’s say it takes you one full month to research and put out a product from scratch. So if you wanted to create a product each month you could only do 12 for the year. Now, imagine you simply got PLR material and created products from that. Do you know that you could have a product up and running with PLR material in a matter of a few days?

But let’s say it took you a week. That means you could put out 52 products in a year instead of just 12. Can you see the enormous increase in revenue that would be for you? Even if you’re not the greatest marketer in the world, certainly 52 products out there, with nothing more than a little article marketing, is going to bring you a heck of a lot more income than just 12 products.

And the beauty is, you can pick up most PLR products dirt cheap. I got one PLR product that cost me all of $20. That product, with just one mailing, made me a few hundred dollars. That’s not too bad a return wouldn’t you say. If I had taken the time to promote it more, I would have made more, but I spend most of my time on my own products. One of these days, I’ll stop being such a proud SOB and realize that I can make just as much money, if not more, by getting some decent PLR and using it.

So if you look at PLR in this way, it really is outsourcing on the cheap.

And I do mean cheap.

PLR - Some Hard Truths

Monday, April 7th, 2008

PLR isn’t for everybody.

Woooo. What did he just say?

I said, “PLR isn’t for everybody”

Okay, now that I just sent a riot through the Internet marketing community, let me explain. See, there is a method to my madness and in a moment, you’ll understand EXACTLY what it is.

One of the biggest problems that many people have, who are looking to find a way to earn an income online, is that they don’t start out with a fundamental business plan. In other words, they go into things half baked and hope for the best.

In order to succeed with any business, regardless of whether or not you create your product from scratch or use PLR material to do it, you have to have a plan. That means researching and picking a niche based on that research.

You may go through 20 niches before you find one that’s profitable. Some niches either have very little demand or way too much competition to have any real chance of being successful with it. I won’t go into the specifics of niche research because that’s not what this article is about.

What it’s about is the person who just decides that he’s going to look for some PLR material to sell. It doesn’t even matter what it is. So he goes to a PLR site, finds some PLR material on acne and buys it.

Great! Now what?

He has no idea how to go about promoting an acne product. Heck, he doesn’t even know if the niche is one that he’ll have an easy time with. He’s done no market research, he has no budget, he has no income goal and he doesn’t even know how much time he can put into his business.

He doesn’t even know how to put up a website to use the material. Heck, he probably doesn’t even have a proper domain for the niche.

But he’s just purchased a great PLR package all about acne.

In other words, he’s put the cart before the horse and certainly you can see the illogic of doing that.

PLR, or any product for that matter, is for people who have a plan and know what to do with it once they get that product.

So before you go run out and purchase the PLR product du jour, please make sure that you have a plan in place for actually using it. Then, you can get a great product, like PLRExpoitation, that will show you what you can do with this great PLR once you’ve got that plan in place.

To YOUR PLR Success,

Steven Wagenheim

PLR - Some Personal Experience

Sunday, April 6th, 2008

I’ve been talking about PLR a lot these past few days, but what about my own personal experience with PLR? Certainly results speak louder than words. Well, even though I am a writer and create most of my own products, I have, from time to time, used PLR material when I knew it was good and knew it would help me in the long run. I’m going to share a few of my uses with you today.

My first experience with PLR came in the form of a book on article writing. I was actually doing some research on the subject because I wanted to see if the ideas on the Internet jived with my own, since I had been writing offline for over 25 years.

Well, the book I found was well written. So well written that I used it as the basis for my new book on article writing. I added a few of my own ideas and put it out. This did two things.

The first was that it allowed me to make some sales without having to put a lot of work in.

The second was more subtle. See, I knew there was a lot I wanted to add to the book, but I also knew it was going to take me some time to do this. So having the book out there gave me time to create my second version and still make money at the same time.

Eventually, I replaced the PLR product with my own totally original product. But it had served its purpose. It made me money and bought me some time, AND it gave me some inspiration.

My second experience with PLR was a health related book. I’m going to keep the actual book under wraps because I don’t want to expose my other niche which I promote in under a pseudonym.

The book I got was very well written but I knew that since it was PLR, I had to rewrite it slightly. So I did and put it out under my name. The book has made me several thousand dollars with just a little bit of promotion.

My last experience with PLR to date was an autoresponder series that I bought for another niche. It doesn’t make me money directly, but it’s excellent content that I can use to give to my list and then in turn, they become buyers because of it. So it indirectly makes me an income.

Granted, it’s not a lot of material that I have used. As I said, I do most of my own writing. However, the few times I have used PLR, they have always produced me an income either directly or indirectly.

Point is, my own personal experience with PLR shows that IF you get PLR that is good to begin with and IF you know what to do with it, you can make a nice income from it without a lot of work. As a member of a forum I attend said in one of his posts, and I am paraphrasing, “All those who dismiss PLR as a viable means of income generation, it’s just more easy money for me.”

It is SO true.

To YOUR PLR Success,

Steven Wagenheim
