PLR - Great For Article Marketing

Wednesday, April 2nd, 2008

As an article writer myself, I can tell you that using PLR material for your article marketing is a real life saver. In this particular article, which ironically is NOT written from PLR material, I’ll explain why.

Article marketing is a very effective form of online promotion. Article directories, as well as your own blogs and the blogs of others (if you’re a guest author like I am) are fantastic ways to get your message out to others without directly selling and still effectively marketing.

But why is article marketing effective marketing?

The reason is because content is what makes the Internet run. Anybody who has any problem at all, will come to the Internet looking for information that will hopefully lead to a solution to that problem. That is where articles come in. Once that information is found, through the article itself, the person is very likely to continue his research into the person who wrote the article and possibly end up purchasing a product from this person.

Okay, so what does this have to do with PLR?

Well, article writing is a long process. First there is the research involved in getting the data for the article itself and then there is the actual writing. Some articles, depending upon how much research is needed and how skilled you are at writing, could take hours to write.

Who has all that time?

That is where PLR material comes in quite handy. But this is where people don’t really understand why. It isn’t so much that the article is already written. It’s that the research, the real time consuming part, has already been done for you. That is where the true value of PLR comes in.

If I am writing articles on a subject that I know very well, then most times I will write my own articles. However, if I am writing on a subject that I know little about, but what to promote a product related to that subject, I will get some PLR material and use it as the basis of my article.

Notice I said, “as the basis” and not as the article itself. See, most people use PLR incorrectly. By that, I mean that they purchase the PLR material and pass it off as their own. This is not only wrong but downright dangerous. It’s also not necessary as it takes as little as 7 minutes to rewrite a PLR article. So there is no need to pass it off as your own work.

In PLRExploitation, we’ll show you just how to rewrite an article in 7 minutes or less. It’s really very easy if you know the secret.

PLR - Great For List Building

Tuesday, April 1st, 2008

In a previous article on PLR and what it’s good for, I talked about how it’s very useful for creating your own products. Well, that’s not the only great use for PLR. It’s also fantastic for building your list. How? I’m going to cover that in this article.

List building is probably one of the most important things you can do in order to build your business. The reason is simple. A person on your list, if treated properly (and that’s the key) could turn into a faithful and long time buyer. So building your list is critical to having a successful business.

Okay, but how does PLR help us in building our list? To understand that, you need to understand the components of building a list.

The first is the freebie. One of the best ways to get somebody onto your private list is to offer them something that’s free in order to help them with the problem that they’re having. Now, the key to this working is to offer them something free that actually has value, which means that you need to put some time and effort into what you create, which in most cases will be an ebook.

The next thing that is critical in building a solid list is follow up content. In other words, after you’ve given your prospect his free ebook, you want to follow up with him through a series of emails that will hopefully convert him from a prospect into a loyal buyer.

Well, both of these items require writing, or content. Not every marketer has the time to create a free ebook from scratch or an autoresponder series from scratch.

This is where PLR material comes in very handy. A PLR package of articles could easily be used both to create that free ebook and the autoresponder series and the cost of those articles will end up being peanuts next to what you can earn from generating such a list.

That is why PLR material is excellent for not only building a list but for keeping them interested once they’re on it. The key is finding PLR material that is going to be of good quality and easy enough to incorporate into an ebook and the subsequent autoresponder series. And believe it or not, it’s easier than you think. Soon…we’ll show you how.

I’ll have more for you tomorrow.
